Some of Tetyanych's works are dedicated to the national history of Ukraine. The painted history seems like a living organism that refuses to be structured: past, present, and future are linked together. 'Cossacks are laughing' is one of them. Here, we see the masquerading faces of the Cossacks, who seem to appear out of nowhere and return to the same place. They are laughing at us because they see the situation of humanity.
