Fedir Tetyanych was one of the first Ukrainian performers, an artist, and a philosopher. He was the author of the futuristic city idea called "Frypulia," which he realized through monumental reliefs, paintings, mosaics, carved works, and collages. In his works, this artist portrayed the emotional drama of intellectuals in the USSR, their escape into the world of fantasy, as well as the socio-psychological issues of his time.
Some of Tetyanych's works are dedicated to the national history of Ukraine. The painted history appears as a living organism that refuses structure: the past, present, and future intertwine. Fedir Tetyanych believed that excess space is harmful both on the canvas and in human life. Therefore, in many of his works, he leaves no free space and fills everything with various images.
