Roman Zhuk is one of the founders of the Ukrainian transavant-garde, who changed the direction of the development of Ukrainian art. He reveals his vision and emotionality through images in moody still lifes, magical landscapes, portraits, and shocking compositions. The artist adds drama to everyday things, exposes objects, and shows the audience their core. Since 1987, Roman Zhuk's works have been exhibited at exhibitions around the world. They are kept in the collections of many museums and galleries in Kyiv, Lviv, and other cities of Ukraine, Europe, and the Americas.
