A soldier. Sketch of images for the play "That's How the Guska Died"

Description

The soldier in the costume sketch for Kulish's play ‘That's How the Guska Died’ is depicted without a head because it is not a human being, but an instrument of the ideology of the 1920s ‘civil war’. There could be no personal freedom or opinion. The body was supposed to be an instrument subordinated to the state and serving its good.
